What conditions can the Bowen Technique Treat?
In Bowen Therapy we do not actually treat any conditions, but rather the client's body as a whole. When a client receives the Bowen Technique, their body's self-healing mechanisms are stimulated. The body is then in a better position to heal itself. It can be said that the healing comes from inside the client rather than being forced on the client from the outside. Because we treat the whole person, the Bowen Technique can be given to people with a wide range of conditions. The Bowen Technique is also suitable for people of all ages, from the new-born to the elderly.
Some of the most common conditions that people come to a Bowen therapist for assistance with include:
